At the core of embracing change and resilience is an inner strength to effectively handle change. In this course you will identify what triggers the emotional output from change, as well as differentiate between an expectation and a preference. Participants will understand the four levels of awareness and how to overcome obstacles through building the muscle of resilience. You will learn how to overcome obstacles with grace and persevere through what can seem like setbacks and challenges beyond your control. In addition, you will learn alternative solutions to new or common problems with finesse and sophistication.

The Embracing Change class was very insightful. The class was more of a workbook where I had to really think about my feelings and thoughts around change, then work on strategies for dealing with it. I learned that we all have unique ways of responding to change, and that it’s okay to experience different emotions as you go through the process.
